Les Vergers Boiron is a French mid-sized company specialized in fruit puree, experiencing strong growth and planning to open new sites, notably in the United States. The business challenge
Auditing usage and rationalizing device management
The IT team, small and not highly technical, faced a lack of visibility over the device fleet and inefficient use of the existing MDM. The first phase of the project was a comprehensive audit of workstations and mobility, expanded into a broader look at standardizing the information system.
The analysis revealed limited visibility across an extensive device fleet, partial use of the existing MDM, and strong inconsistency in usage patterns, compounded by the international context and a wide range of equipment types: workstations, mobile phones, industrial tablets, and BYOD devices.

Based on the audit findings, a target Intune architecture was defined, covering every device type and laying the groundwork for unified, scalable management compatible with opening new sites, including in the United States.
Implementation
Deploying Intune for unified, scalable management
Following the audit, Microsoft Intune was deployed as the central device management solution. The configuration was tailored to Les Vergers Boiron's specific business needs and usage patterns, covering workstations and mobile devices, industrial tablets brought back into a secure management scope, and BYOD equipment integrated through a controlled approach aligned with best practices.
