The business challenge

Making Dev and Ops collaboration more fluid

ADEO Home Services (AHS), an 80-person department, is part of the Customer and Commerce Digital Platform (CCDP) entity within the ADEO group. To reinforce the 2 Ops engineers already on its infrastructure team, ADEO brought in a Synapsys DevOps engineer.

Our solution

A key role for Ops across every functional module

For each functional module developed by AHS, the team of 3 Ops engineers played a central role alongside the pool of developers they collaborate with: setting up infrastructure aligned with actual needs, automating continuous infrastructure deployment, handling project management and DevOps training, and managing monitoring and supervision.

Implementation

A mature DevOps culture built on Kubernetes

ADEO's teams already had a strong agile culture, with DevOps principles widely adopted to accelerate projects. Beyond ADEO's shared agile foundation, each team chooses its own rituals and tools, from daily and weekly standups to sprint-based backlogs.

AHS relies on a broad DevOps toolchain, including Kubernetes, Datadog, CI/CD through GitHub and Jenkins, Ansible for VM management, JFrog, Vault, Terraform, and SonarQube. ADEO also chose to migrate to a microservices architecture on Kubernetes, favoring agility, modularity, and flexibility, letting teams build, test, deploy, and even tear down environments within minutes.

Measurable results

Faster, more collaborative infrastructure delivery

This engagement strengthened collaboration between Dev and Ops across ADEO Home Services, supporting a modern, Kubernetes-based microservices architecture that lets teams stand up and tear down environments in minutes rather than days.
